![]() In 2013 Moonieyan was named NCAA South Region Assistant Coach of the Year after assisting Alabama Huntsville to a national ranking for the first time in school history. His teams have broken multiple school records including both men and women being ranked #5 and #6 in the NAIA and finishing as quarterfinalist at the NAIA National Championships in back to back years. Moonieyan coached five top 10 nationally ranked players, 8 All-Americans, and led Union to the 2021 Appalachian Athletic Conference regular season title in Men's and Women's Tennis. Originally from East London, South Africa, Moonieyan restarted the tennis program at Union in 2014. "I can't wait to elevate the Pride Tennis program to new heights."
